En Bangladesh, ingenieros han desarrollado un aire acondicionado casero 100% ecológico, un aire acondicionado que no necesita electricidad para funcionar! Una invención ejemplar y llena de ingenio.
Eco cooler (el nombre de este invento) ha sido diseñado por Grameen Intel Social Business, una empresa que trabaja para encontrar soluciones tecnológicas que puedan estar disponibles para toda la población.
¿Por qué han trabajado en un aire acondicionado de bajo costo? Debido a que en Bangladesh están sometidos regularmente a épocas de mucho calor (hasta 45 °) y la población sufre enormemente: las casas son de acero y la temperatura alcanza temperaturas máximas.
La idea era simple, pero a la vez muy ambiciosa. Desarrollar un aire acondicionado eficiente con materiales de bajo costo, a ser posible reciclados y accesibles para la población, eficiente y fácil de construir. Unos meses más tarde, cumplieron con el reto: Eco cooler cumple con todas estas condiciones…
Con un simple tablero y unas cuantas botellas de plástico, puedes bajar la temperatura 5 °C en pocos minutos!
Como funciona Eco cooler.
El funcionamiento es muy simple. Para entenderlo, haz esta prueba: sopla en tu mano con la boca bien abierta, sentirás el aire caliente. Por otro lado, haz el mismo ejercicio con la boca casi cerrada, sentirás el aire frío. Para bajar la temperatura del aire, Eco-cooler simplemente utiliza este sistema de diferencia de presión.
Las botellas de plástico se cortan en dos partes y se colocan en un tablero. El tablero se coloca en una ventana, con los cuellos de botella mirando hacia dentro de la casa. De esta forma, refrescaremos la vivienda de forma natural!
Es muy bueno, pero eso no es todo: Grameen Intel no tiene ninguna intención de hacer negocio con su aire acondicionado casero. La compañía incluso ha compartido online las instrucciones de fabricación: con derechos de autor gratis! Por lo tanto, cualquier persona puede copiar el sistema y hacer uno en casa.
Una manera inteligente para ganar en comodidad sin dañar el medio ambiente, o comprometer su salud (a diferencia de los tradicional climatizadores). Y, además, fomenta el reciclaje de botellas de plástico!
